Isn’t it unreal how they have to build so close to the Ancient Amphitheatre, it really is a shame. I realize that the population has to do this, but it just takes something away from the look.
i know – but the issue is more the problem of the relatively recent discovery and the fact that it is right in the centre of a large port city – so it will take years before they can actually clear the whole place out.
frustrating for those interested in ancient history; but i suspect even more annoying for the people whose homes sit on top of the unexcavated parts!!
