As Q regulars will know, Eugene Peterson’s Eat This Book – The Art of Spiritual Reading is a favourite. As part of BibleFresh (the 400th Anniversarycelebrations of the King James), we decided to devote the summer term’s studies for our Fellowship Groups to looking at passages inspired by the book. Each passage looks at how the Bible itself describes its impact on the believer’s life.

Now I suppose that at first sight, this sounds rather too self-referential and introverted. But that’s the interesting thing. For, for each time we start reading the bible (let alone these specific passages), we are always lifted up beyond ourselves to see life, the universe and everything from the perspective of eternity.

Anyway – here are the studies in case they are of use or interest.
