Saturday saw us celebrate Joshua’s 10th Birthday – which was very jolly indeed. Several of his school friends came for fun and games – a right laugh.
But la pièce de résistance (apart, of course, from the magnificent Dalek birthday cake) had to be the JELLY. The making of this has become a bit of an annual event in our family, as Rachel patiently adds layer upon layer in the days preceding the bash. But this year, I feel that she both excelled herself in terms of range and variety – AND in terms of artistic accomplishment.
How could it be described as anything other than art?
Tate Modern here we come… well it would have been if the blighters hadn’t scoffed it. Ho hum…
